PUCT Protects #Consumers by Approving Sale and Transfer of
Water Utilities in Harris and Chambers Counties

AUSTIN, Texas – The Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUCT) today approved the sale
and transfer of three water systems – Vista Utilities, Villa Utilities, and Reed Estates – to SP
Utility Company, ensuring the utilities’ 85 customers will receive safe, continuous, and
affordable water service.
