Daytona Highlands neighborhood turns 100 years old

The Daytona Highlands, the area’s oldest subdivision, is celebrating its 100th anniversary. The Daytona Highlands Civic Association, representing about 200 homes, is hosting a reception at the Museum of Arts & Sciences, 352 S. Nova Road, Tuesday, Aug. 20, from 7 to 9 p.m. The public is invited. Refreshments will be served, and admission is free.
